Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was found in the plane's windshield, per an official announcement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed following established safety measures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer commented in a online announcement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence isn't the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to head back to Washington DC after encountering a mechanical fault.
