Nearly Ninety Flights Associated to Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airports

Analysis has identified that nearly 90 aircraft journeys linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly landed at and took off from UK airports, with some allegedly carrying British women who claim they were victimized by the convicted sex offender.

Aviation Records Show Trail of Movement

The flight logs were part of a trove of legal papers and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the past year. The investigation found 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein – featuring many that were not previously known – arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel

Unnamed women were documented among the individuals travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a minor.

“This is ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his dealings in the country,” said US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein victims.

British Victims and Legal Proceedings

A statement from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that victim has never been contacted by police in the UK, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.

In a response, the London's Metropolitan Police said they had “not been provided with any additional information that would support restarting the inquiry.” They noted, “If new and relevant information be presented to us, including any resulting from the disclosure of material in the US, we will assess it.”

Continuing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to make public all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of papers are projected to be made public.

In a related development, a US judge decided last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
